Care instructions

Our jewelry is resistant against heat, cold, fresh and salt water. You can go swimming, sauna etc. without problems.

We recommend cleaning our neck/arm/foot bracelets and Piercings approx. every 6 weeks wearing them continuously, as body grease, body lotions, shampoo etc. can accumulate particularly in the locking mechanism. Please unscrew the grub screw completely and clean up the thread as well as the screw head (IMBUS).

Locks
It is possible that the lubricant oil inside the locking cylinder is wearing off after a while, which can lead to malfunction of the lock. To prevent this, we recommend dripping a drop of oil into the keyhole once a month. Lock and unlock it a few times and wipe off any excessive oil... done.

We exclusively use the following materials:

Stainless Steel (Wst.-Nr. 1.4301 DIN 2463)
Composition:
0,07 % Carbon
1 % Silicon
2 % Manganese
0,045 % Phosphorus
0,030 % Sulphur
17 - 19 % Chrome
8,5 - 10,5 % Nickel

Stainless Steel (Wst.-Nr. 1.4571 DIN 671) - surgical steel
We use this stainless steel exclusively for our piercings. Due to the Titanium alloy, it is much more resistant to intercrystalline corrosion.

Composition:
0,08 % Carbon
1 % Silicon
2 % Manganese
0,045 % Phosphorus
0,015 % Phosphorus
16,5 bis 18,5 % Chrome
2 - 2,5 % Molybdenum

We consciously sold our jewelry with Nickel components knowingly to persons suffering from an allergy several times. Until now, no allergic reactions to Nickel were ever reported to our knowledge.

Our locks:

We exclusively use high-quality brand locks by ABUS made of Brass and Titalium, and redesign them for our pieces of jewelry. The Brass locks are refined by a galvanic process.
